Monday, April 28, 2025 – Federal Election Day in Canada.
With major issues like: affordable housing, the environment and climate, tariffs, and US-Canada relations, this was a defining election. The Liberals have won with a minority government. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was defeated in his riding and will step down as leader as the NDP was hit hard and lost many seats. Pierre Poilievre was also defeated in his riding.
